Scope of Works:

Contracted by Lanco Group to facilitate the construction of a new Dental Boutique surgery in Balwyn, our team leveraged our Yarra Valley Water (YVW) accreditation to deliver a highly technical sewer diversion. The project was immediately challenged by a severe clash between the proposed sewer alignment and live above-ground power infrastructure. By stepping into the initial design phase, we provided expert constructability advice and engineered a solution that safely bypassed the high-risk power assets while keeping the development on schedule.

Works included:

• Diverted 60m of 225mm sewer reticulation main to accommodate the new structural footprint.
• Deployed mixed installation methods—integrating both precision underground boring and open-cut trenching—to overcome surface and subsurface obstacles.
• Safely constructed two (2) bespoke cast-in-situ maintenance holes and necessary maintenance chambers to YVW standards.
