Quick-Lock Repairs
Quick-Lock is a leading-edge trenchless technology used to rehabilitate localised defects within a sewer or stormwater drain. Katam Drainage has extensive experience in the installation of the Quick-Lock trenchless repair system. Usually positioned by a crawler and expanded pneumatically, Quick-Lock’s rehab sleeve provides structural, trenchless pipe repair with heavy-gauge 316 stainless steel, plus infiltration abatement with an EPDM rubber gasket.

Katam Drainage primarily uses the Quick-Lock trenchless repair system to seal abandoned / redundant Property Connection Branches (PCB) / Hose Connection Branches (HCB) as a trenchless alternative to traditional excavation and removal of the junction, minimising disruption at the surface.
Fibreglass Patch Repairs
Fibreglass patching of drains is a method of repairing localised structural defects within a sewer or stormwater drain. The process involves installing a fibreglass felt and epoxy resin system internally of the drain in sections up to 5 meters in length.
Katam Drainage utilises fibreglass patch repairs where a larger defect and/or area is required to be covered and/or to seal multiple abandoned/redundant Property Connection Branches (PCB)/Hose Connection Branches (HCB) as a trenchless alternative to traditional excavation and removal of the junction, minimising disruption at the surface. The system is also used to repair damage to sewer and stormwater drains where the damaged section is underneath a concrete slab, which is common within residential and commercial new construction projects.
